This is an e-learning course to assist those of you with young children and high school age adults in the planning process for their college educations. The intent is to create awareness, stimulate your thinking, inspire a realistic solution to avoiding debt, and the motivation to develop a positive learning environment within your family to accomplish the goal.

In this 9-week course participants are introduced to online learning in the areas of acquiring knowledge, mental adjustments in one’s thinking, and the tools to help their children achieve a debt free college education. They will become aware of, and learn about the issues, mindsets, challenges and opportunities confronting and awaiting parents in search of a debt free college education for their children. Topics will cover; the financial reality of attending college; today’s consumer attitude towards debt; importance of changing our mindset about debt; planning for a debt free college experience; the power of money; saving, investing; networking; scholarship and grant possibilities; value of working, and entrepreneurial activities.

The course material consists of background information, various readings pertaining to each topic, and interactive exercises designed to increase awareness.
